Apple needs to get the mums and dads, the people who have never touched a mac or a computer.
The Switch campaign failed because they focused on the wrong people. Just like in the early 80's - Steve and Co thought that IBM was the devil, but we all know who really was the devil.
They need to focus on the every day person who cares about email, web surfing and word processing. A cheap machine would do the job.

I'm so excited for Belkin Grip Vue since I love that case for my 3G. I will most likely end up getting that. However, all the other cases look fairly cool, too. Decision, decision! :)

Well, may be off topic but the shipping times on the MacBooks has been inreasing on the Apple Store online U.S. since yesterday. They were at 3-5 business days yesterday and now they're all at 5-7. Could be something, could be nothing.
As has been reported, it's because of high demand due to the back-to-school season. Apple is having difficulty keeping up with that demand.

I have to say I'm not excited for a single rumor yet for the this Macworld. iPhone maybe but who has money after Christmas... I mean I sure don't not for a phone anyways...

Stickies contents are now scrollable. I think this was the case in DP1 as well.
This will be a lifesaver for me! I hate how I have to manually resize the stickies if there's more info in them. Nice to see Apple looked at nearly everything for refinement :D

I don't think that is always the case. In this case, specifically, we are likely looking at the high end mini bumping down to the low end price range, and the high end being a new machine. That would meant that the high end mini is basically getting a price drop, which would push the refurb price down: the refurb Core Duo mini is currently MORE than a new Core Solo. I'd definitely expect to see Duos get a price drop in the refurb store if the new mini line up is 1.66 duo and 1.83 duo.
It will be interesting to see how Apple stocks and prices the refurb store once the new chips are in the Intel machines. I have noticed less and less PPC refurbs for iMacs and Minis. I guess that Apple is holding onto them in order to replace PPC machines that go bad while under warranty.

Going to Best Buy in a few minutes. Going to look at their Grip Vues, and then Griffin 'Reveal's ( http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Griffin+Technology+-+Reveal+Case+for+4th-Generation+Apple%26%23174%3B+iPod%26%23174%3B+touch+-+Black/1207809.p?id=1218234053966&skuId=1207809 ) which show off the nice shinyness, and comes with a stand. What I would like to see is 1080p out via wifi to apple TV, thus negating the need for dock connector out as seen in the video. Then companies will start developing in the opposite direction. IE apps optimized to take advantage of the apple TVs power while using the ipad/iphone/itouch as remotes/controllers.
